Born and raised in Texas, Bobby began playing the game of golf at an early age. In 2004, he began his career in golf at Barton Creek Resort and Spa in Austin, Texas and studied under the direction of Teacher Chuck Cook who is a Golf Magazine Top 100 instructor and #2 Teacher by Golf Digest.
Because of his expertise in instruction and club fitting, Bobby was recruited by Edel Golf and became their VP of Sales. While at Edel, he became an intricate part of training and traveled worldwide to develop Edel’s team of fitters. He was in charge of international business development and the development of new Edel Certified Fitters across the U.S. and the world.
With the lack of club fitters and studios in the Austin and central Texas area, Bobby saw an opportunity to use his experience and expertise. He then launched the Barton Creek Fitting Studio in April of 2018 which has now become Golf Digest Top 100 Club Fitters in the US. Here he has been able to create the only outdoor fitting location in central Texas to offer every major manufacturer with real ball flight off of green grass using a Trackman4.

Matt Bader
Master Fitter
Matt is a Class A PGA professional with 15 years in the golf industry. He began his career at Riverside Golf Course in East Austin, later working across the country before returning to Austin for an 8-year tenure at The Hills Country Club, where he served as Head Golf Professional and Director of Retail.
After a two-year break to run equine therapy programs for veterans and first responders, Matt returned to golf in 2020. He spent nearly five years at PGA Tour Superstore as a Master Club Fitter and at Rising Sun Golf Course in Montana as Head Golf Professional.
He earned his PGA Class A membership in 2015 and holds Certified Professional status in Golf Operations and General Management. Matt is certified in club fitting by all major OEMs and remains brand agnostic to best fit each player’s game.
Matt’s approach to golf is simple: help players make the game easier by understanding and controlling their unique swing.
